Westminster is also conveniently located within about 30 minutes of the Airport, and inside of an hour of skiing. The northern boundaries of Westminster have some of the most amazing views of the mountains in the front range, so if you’re looking for mountain views, you’ve got them in Westminster. That’s especially the case for areas on west-facing slopes such as “Legacy Ridge” & “The Reserve” (North of 104th & on both sides of Federal). Those areas tend to have homes above $500,000. Westminster has four public recreation centers, as well as Sun-Microsystems Ice Centre, and dozens of other recreational facilities for those that enjoy organized sports. The City of Westminster takes an active role in constantly providing seasonal activities for its residents. Activities include fishing contests in Westminster’s freshly stocked lakes, kids’ activities for all of the major holidays, a fireworks show that brings visitors from all over the state, and many other activities.
